“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us,” Psalm 100:1-3
Ancil R. is a church planter among the Antemoro of Southeast Madagascar. He along side his national partners are living Psalm 100 out through their ministry with Antemoro children and youth. Ancil has trained his national partners on sharing scripture through song. They have taught and encouraged youth to put the Word of God to song and trained them in sharing the gospel through those songs in their community. The youth meet on Sunday afternoons to worship, then during the week they craft songs and do evangelism. Almost weekly they are entering village schools to share the gospel through puppet ministry and music. They will even stop on the side of the road to do their shows, which draws a crowd with whom they can share the gospel. Please pray for Ancil and his national partners as they make a joyful noise to the Lord, that they would continue to serve him with gladness, and the Antemoro would hear God’s truth through their songs.
Ancil with his national team sing scripture to children at an Antemoro village school.
Pastor Bill Mitchell of FBC Orlando, Florida, writes,
“Thank you for praying for the unreached Antemoro people of southeast Madagascar. Please pray for our next mission team who’ll be spending another couple of weeks there during October. Pray for the team as they prepare, safety in travel and good health while there. Pray for God prepare the hearts of the Antemoro people to receive the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pray specifically for more People of Peace who can grant continual entry of the Gospel into their villages.”
God’s Word will not return void.
God proved this to be true as the volunteer team from First Baptist Church, Orlando, Florida, obeyed God’s call to travel around the globe and engage the Antemoro people. Perservering through two days of flying and a third day over winding roads in the Madagascar rainforest, they finally entered Antemoro villages.
Face to face with the people they had prayed for, they opened their mouth to share God’s love. The results? Sil, Luc and Niv – three ladies who prayed to receive Christ! Sil and Luc followed their decision with baptism.
Praise God for His promises. Pray for these three Antemoro ladies to obey in sharing their newfound faith with others in their village.

Engaging the Antemoro of Madagascar
A volunteer team from First Baptist Church of Orlando, Fla., arrived in Madagascar on April 26 and will serve through May 6. They are working to engage the Antemoro people in the southeast area of the large island.
~ Ask God to provide translators that will help us communicate with the people.
~ Ask the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of the Antemoro people and break the chains on their life.
~ Pray for us to find a ‘person of peace’ (Luke 10), someone in an unevangelized area that will be receptive to the Gospel.”
