As American missionaries working in Madagascar, opportunities for sharing the gospel in our heart language are relatively few. But every once in a while, something happens to change that. Several ESL students recently approached Tim Norton, asking him to help them continue their English studies since their previous teacher had returned to the States. While this is obviously not the primary reason for living in Madagascar, Tim agreed to teach on the condition that the Bible serve as the curriculum. According to the Nortons, the goal with these students is “to expose them to the Gospel, teach them how to study the Bible at home, and complete a brief discipleship lesson set.” (http://nortons2mada.com/blog).
